Footy Fixtures First

The Beyewatch hot line rang this morning and we told of a fabled list of kosher Championship fixtures available on the Internet. Now, these fixtures were taken down from said site (presumably because the site involved didn't have the relevant licence to re-produce the fixtures and of course because they were letting the cat out of the bag).

We thought we'd report what we read, or at least the first few lines which would indicate that Newcastle United will open their 2009/2010 campaign away at West Brom. Our first home fixture, if reports are correct will be against Reading FC.

So two sides with recent Premier League experience to start. The run-in didn't look bad but we'll let you read about that when the fixtures come out for real.

We've had a few people question our sources in the past, most recently a QPR fan! Let's hope the egg is firmly off the face this time.
