Caption Competition

Remember a while ago we said we'd met Habib? Well before Habib jetted out of Tyneside for a much needed holiday he kindly left a few items for Beyewatch's attention.

Firstly was an autographed photo for the winner of the Beyewatch Fantasy League.

Secondly was another signed photo, this time dedicated to Beyewatch, thanking us for our stirling work. (This has already claimed pride of place in my living room - soz rest of the team, there's no time share).

Finally, and perhaps most excitingly, was an official Newcastle United polo shirt, the sort worn by the players pre-match on the bus and around the ground etc. This particular shirt was worn by Habib on the day we were relegated and still has a faint smell of his cologne (which is fading as the days go by).

This shirt could be seen by some as a poisoned chalice but regardless we thought we'd put it up for grabs to you, our readers.

You'll notice the image above of Habib Beye in the new 2009/10 away kit. All we need from you is a caption. What do you think Habib is saying? Keep it clean(ish) and as funny as possible and email it to songs@beyewatch.co.uk

We'll judge them all and the funniest will receive the Adidas NUFC Polo Shirt AS WORN BY HABIB BEYE. (We might even work out how to confirm it's authenticity somehow when Habib's back). Our judgement is final, there are no substitutions for the prize (it's a mens 42/44" white polo shirt) and the competition is open to anyone other than Beyewatch stalwart Bongo and myself (sorry Rob). Closing date is July 10th and we'll announce the winner then as well as including a few of the also rans.
