A lovely effort from Bongo here... Pulling an Atomic Kitten number out of the bag shows questionable taste and a man more than comfortable with his feminine side. Pulling multiple verses and choruses is perhaps a bit much but when it's good it's good.
The sentiment here is clear; Habib, score a goal, win us a match. It will make all the difference!
To Atomic Kitten's 'Whole Again'.
"When you see me standing on my seat
Watching Habib Beye, playing with both feet
He will pass me by
And I'll let out a sigh
Will he score a goal again?
And if I see him taking on his man
I tell you I'm not joking, he's the best we've ever had
They try to take him down
But he just runs around
Will he score a goal again?
Looking back to brum when they let...
Beye escape his marker and head in the net
The crowd sang Habib's song
And now he's thirty-one
But he will score a goal again?
Time is laying heavy on my heart
Seems there's not enough of it, and wor teams fell apart
But Beye still makes me smile, and though it's not his style
He will score a goal again
For now we have to wait
But Beye, Beye if you start to find
Make your run late, or the toon won't carry on
We've been waited far too long
For you to score a goal again."
