Beyewatch is 1 today

Happy Birthday to us!

http://beyewatch.blogspot.com was first posted to on 18th April 2008 which makes Beyewatch 1 year old today! 278 posts later and Beyewatch has went from strength to strength. We've appeared on TV, met Habib Beye, Mike Ashley, Fabricio Colocini, Roger Tames, Jasper Carot, appeared in the national press and been ridiculed on TV by Gary Palister, John Beresford and Kevin Ball. Not bad for a years work!

www.beyewatch.co.uk followed the original blogger site and not much has changed since... The bottletop logo got a make over, a facebook page followed, we started a fantasy football league and a number of readers submitted songs. We've introduced twitter updates and started blow by blow commentary before others did it and it became passe.

We've broken news stories first, produced phone themes and desktop wallpapers, created an advent calendar of songs as well as making our opinions known and gathering fans from all over the world as well as tried to support Habib Beye through the dark times of injury.

Despite advertisments on the site, we've not made a bean or received anything in return for our efforts (except a coffee from Habib and a number of pleasant emails thanking us for our work). Despite this, the site has an average of a post every 1.3 days! Not bad for 2 active writers with full time jobs and other commitments! We've had over 40,000 visits to the site, the plan is to create even more songs and spread the word further. We may even commemorate the 1st Birthday of the domain purchase on 23rd April with a new look and feel. We just need time to turn the ideas into reality and a deadline sharpens the mind like nothing else.
