The Premier League, European Cup, World Club Cup and Carling Cup holders visit St James tonight in their quest for the clean sweep. They also boast a goalkeeper who has forgotten how to concede goals, the world footballer of the year and a shed load of players who particularly like to score against us!
We have in response, a team with no central midfielders who are sinking closer and closer to relegation with a fixture list that isn't helping with the nerves too much.
But yes there is a glimmer of hope. All of those months ago, before the protests, under the stewardship of Keegan, we took our men to Old Trafford and gained a point, which is more than any other team has managed this season. Hope and optimism were in abundance that day and most of it has long since vanished and been replaced with scepticism and cynasism. Lets bring back the good old days man, Howay The Lads.
Beyewatch prediction
5-0
P.S. Check back for twitter updates from St James and pre match build up from Kevin and Bongo. It's better than Blog on the Tyne and we did it first

would love to check but have to watch it :(
and I still stick by my 5-1 prediction.. we're due a fluke goal.. if only to make van der saar start a new run.
what really scares me is the prospect of Geremi & Smudge in the middle...
