We've deliberately avoided trying to produce a diary of Habib's recovery although several media sources have reported on his comeback with the Senegalese stopper throwing aside the crutches and looking to get a 'sweat on' at the training ground. The most recent re-working from the Mirror suggests Habib will be back in April. You can read more from the following sources:

Habib has another 3 seasons in him, easy, provided he looks after himself as he has done throughout his career.

Habib has avoided serious injury with his Achilles and recent ankle injuries being the first major spells on the sideline that we're aware of. There's no doubt we're missing a right back of Habib's calibre but Taylor and Edgar have done a decent job in his absence and now Ryan Taylor is with the club, he must have a decent chance of getting into his preferred position.
Should we strengthen over the summer it will be intriguing to see who wins the right back berth if it is indeed a straight fight between R Taylor and Habib Beye.
