Steve Bruce’s Pie eating Latics arrive on Tyneside presumably via the road from Wigan pier for a 3pm kick off at St James Park tomorrow. Habib Beye who prefers Fish and chips or Savaloy dips makes his tenth start of the season unless Joe Kinnear (not Roy) goes a bit mental and benches him.
Reports suggest Bassong maybe in line to partner Coloccini in defence which would suggest that Taylor will still be absent from the squad and Joe Kinnear must have realised that Cacapa is Donald Duck or Pluto or Minnie Mouse.
Mark Viduka is back in training, but as he does like a pie or two there is a lot of training before he is back in first team contention. For them Heskey is a doubt but the dangerous Zaki is likely to play. The familiar face of Titus Bramble should also be in the starting eleven for Wigan too. Lets hope he has one of his off days!
