The game didn't deserve the last 3 minutes which may have papered over the cracks of what was a diabolical performance!
Habib Beye's influence was missing again as Geremi then Edgar tried to force the issue down the right without success. Owen and Butt made fantastic efforts but were surrounded by people out of position, out of form, out of fitness and out of confidence.
Spurs didn't work for their win, nor did they work for their second goal with both centre halves having Bramble moments.
There isn't a lot more to say apart from another odd team selection from Hughton did little to inspire confidence. N'Zogbia again showed what little he can do with the ball and Duff left his bottle in the changing room, yet again ducking out of big tackles he was probably favourite to win. Having seen this, we're surprise 19,000 turned up...
