Bongo could be a poet laureate at this rate. The chorus has that terrace chant anthemic vibe and he's managed to make a wordy remake of a modern classic. We love it here at beyewatch and think he's a very clever boy.....
To 'The Day we caught the train' by Ocean Colour Scene.
"I never saw it at the start
But had a change of heart
Racing down the right wing, whipping balls into the box
And Morton gamst Pederson is a man that's not forgot
That Habib Beye is hard as rock
Stepping through the tunnel at four o'clock, with another half to play
Looking at the fans at the pitch side feeling its a brighter day
You and I should raise a toast
And wind up all those mackam jokes just miles away
what's his number? Beye another song like..
We'd all pay to go and see him train
Hab-ib, La, La, Hab-ib, La, La
Hab-ib, La, La, Hab-ib, La, La"
