Habib Beye left the North East with his Newcastle team mates destined for the sunshine island hosting this weekends Mallorca Summer Cup. Our eagle eyed fashion correspondent 'Weebs' noticed that Beye was decked out in the usual official club garb but chose to accent the look with a bucket load of designer luggage.
The Louis Vitton set sported by Habib retails around £1600 I'm reliably informed (providing Habib didn't pick them up at the Paris Flea Market in Saint-Ouen). This in stark contrast to the NUFC polo shirt and pants which probably come to £60.
Judging by the influx of mail from admiring girls to songs@beyewatch.co.uk it would appear that Habib is becoming the sort of style icon not seen at St James since the likes of Ginola, Venison, Beresford and Barnes.
