Long time reader, admirer and part-time contributer BigPerm has told www.beyewatch.co.uk about how he was lucky enough to run into 'Boro Legend Bernie Slaven in a Gateshead book store. Amongst conversation about football in general and the madness of Gazza, beyewatch.co.uk was dropped into conversation with Ernie asking Bernie to drop us a mention on Century Radio's excellent 3 Legends show. The report goes that Slaven, in his broad Irish accent (ahem!) said...

"oh, those daft lads?" (that were on Soccer Night?!)

Well, it appears our infamy has no bounds. 58 countries, including new signing Jonas Gutierrez's Argentina, touched by beyewatch and it shows no sign of slowing down. Posts might be thin on the ground but it is summer after all. We'll keep things ticking over until our plans for the new season become clear. Who knows? Our little site might even get seen by Habib Beye himself! Now that would be nice :-)
