Whitley Beye?

Our quest to see Habib in a pair of Speedo's was given an almighty boost yesterday when he was astonishingly left out of the Senegal squad for their four upcoming world cup qualifiers. The news follows unconfirmed speculation that Beye had actually retired from international football following Senegal's unsuccessful African Nations Cup campaign. This is a big disappointment to the Beyewatch boys who were planning a summer tour of Africa to back their man at international level, however is good news for next season when Newcastle should be able to select a fully recuperated Habib Beye at right back.
