Public Appearance, Mission Statement and Reviews!

That's right, hot news to come! In the meantime here's the tease.... Brother Bongo and I have been involved in a bit of PR for beyewatch.co.uk and everything Habib Beye. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements including exclusive video on the site and a new song submission from a genius who has played on TOTP! (Top of the pops for our older readers).

Also, we have our first soundbite / review... Some nice lad on facebook said....

The guy who does the beyewatch website clearly has too much time on his hands.
Its great though.

Thanks for the compliment but thankfully there are 6 of us involved at board level so much of the work is of the cut and paste variety. I've even stopped adding images to posts! Glad you're enjoying it though!

I thought I'd take this opportunity to share our mission statement here at beyewatch.co.uk (we reserve the right to change this without notice at any time on any whim).

• To support Habib in all of his endeavours
• To provide a platform for people to share their songs about Habib Beye
• To recognise the genius terrace chants all too often only sang by the few, the ultras and when we're in the away end
  
• To meet Habib Beye (preferably pitchside at St James Park)
• To produce an image (genuine or otherwise) of Habib in a pair of speedo's with a red Beywatch life saver device (you know, the red can?)
• To have a laugh wherever possible and provide the digital glue that keeps 6 geographically dispersed Geordies together....
