Player of the Season

Habib Beye was unsurprisingly crowned 'Beyewatch Player of the Season' by a landslide. Habib got 82% of the vote with Nicky Butt a distant second with 8%. We know it's not scientific by any means but any affirmation that we're supporting the right bloke is gratefully received.

The official NUFC Site is running a similar competition at www.nufc.co.uk where they describe Habib Beye thus:

"Classy Senegal star has been the pick of the summer signings and it's little surprise he has become something of a fans' favourite with his all-action endeavours down United's right flank."

We couldn't agree more. Checkout the banter at BBC's 606 where the banter shows a close fought battle between Beye, Butt and a couple of others...
