So it's our last opportunity to see Habib at home this season and we have two influential games left. Who'd have thought 20 games ago that we could help shape the title race and affect the European places? Personally I have no allegiance to ManU or Villa but I'd prefer we beat Chelsea and Everton to give us the best possible points total when all is said and done. Sure, that would mean ManU lifting the title and the prospect of Abramovich chucking his toys out of the pram again and making more changes at Chelsea... We might finally get Wayne Bridge! As for Villa, their squad are probably ill equipped for European glory but Everton have had a go this year and didn't make it so why not?
Regardless of today's result we are in the thick of it. It would be nice, this time next year to be writing about the opportunities that we have, rather than influencing others. I for one, think that KK is the guy for the job as long as Mr Ashley and the rest of the 'board' supports him. We can certainly show that we support KK and the lads at full time. As our player of the season, Habib will get a special reception for sure. If only someone would sing one of our songs......
Sunday, Monday, Habib Beye
