The season ended with predictable disappointment for the traveling toon army as we surrendered to a decent Everton side. Habib Beye had another reasonable game by all accounts although received some low scores in the popular press. Habib stuck around at the end and along with Harper, Taylor and Ramage, threw his shirt into the Geordie throng, thus sealing his fan favourite status.
Good luck to Peter Ramage who, as an honest pro, could have provided reasonable cover for Habib Beye next season with Stephen Carr out of the frame. It's a pity he rejected the club's offer but should do well at Loftus Road if the QPR transfer goes ahead. All the best from the beyewatch boys Rammy!
