A disappointing second half performance saw Chelsea nick all 3 points at St James. Habib Beye was a model of consistency, dealing well with another faltering Geremi performance in front of him. Newcastle's 21 had a couple of wild swings towards row Z of the Gallowgate but didn't seriously threaten Cech's goal. Beye got forward well and along with Stephen Taylor was probably the pick of the back four and in a first half where Viduka and Butt gave Newcastle a platform, Beye ventured forward at every opportunity and was a rock at right back... KK, Butt and Martins might have got the songs at the final whistle but here at beyewatch.co.uk we think that Habib should have had at least a shout out...
