Beye-Watch

I finally got my hands on a copy of Tuesday's Evening Chronicle which contains a two page feature on Habib Beye. No mention of the beyewatch boys but then I looked at the back page again. There at the top.... "Beye-Watch" and an introduction to the article. How imaginative? They could have squeezed us in....

Anyway, the feature was well written anyway and Habib comes across well. In fact the only way he could have come across better is if he admitted to enjoying ham and pease pudding stotties with a bottle of dog on his days off. That and admitting his dad used to play for Wallsend Comrades.
