....Habib Beye!

Our player of the season poll confirmed over a month ago what everyone already knew. Habib Beye was the best player in a Black and White shirt in the 2007 / 2008 season. The Chronicle confirmed it and now the official NUFC site has confirmed. With 33.6% of the 9,000 votes cast, it's another landslide for Habib. Check out the poll result at nufc.co.uk.

Joining Habib at the top of the tree were Michael Owen and Nicky Butt, well judged in our eyes as Owen's Scholes role helped us out in the latter stages of the season and Butt's consistency proved telling in a midfield often devoid of creativity.
